The year 2013 was probably our best year to date. We actually shot less weddings than in previous years, but that was completely by design. In exchange for less weddings was a lot more portraiture, fashion, modeling and product photography. I spent more time learning new lighting techniques. I added some really cool new post-processing techniques to my workflow, and actually sent all my gear back to Nikon to get it cleaned, recalibrated and like-new again.

We nailed the Bride’s Choice Award in the beginning of the year for the 3rd year in a row. We racked up a pile of 5 star reviews on Wedding Wire. My Lighting Director, Michael, added his usual flair and touch to our events, and we walked away from 2013 with a boatload of new techniques for 2014. As I usually do annually, I’m playing around with a new website design, and since I like to iterate in real-time, it’s likely this site will look wonky from time to time over the next few weeks.

This year, we strengthened our relationship with Downingtown Country Club and French Creek Country Club, 2 of our primary partners. We also added a new partner, Spring Hollow Country Club, and if you go in there, you’ll see our photography framed all over their walls. Yep, it’s been a great year!

Allow me to leave you with some great images from 2013, as we get ready for 2014. I want to thank all our clients this past year. We’ve had an amazing set of successes, and we couldn’t have done it without you. We hope to see you soon and thanks for choosing Gino Guarnere Photography! Happy Holidays to you and yours, and Happy New Year!

Let’s close this out with the picture I did for our 2013 Christmas Card…
